Merry Christmas
This tutorial is written for those
that have a working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies needed:
PSP X2 (any version will work)
Scrapkit by TK Dezigns. It's part of the 2012 Christmas collab
available at CDO
Fonts of choice
I used Go-Go-Go and Carpenter ICG
Mask of choice
Filters:
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Let's get started
Open a new image 700 x 700
You can resize later
Open frame1 & copy/paste
Select inside frame
Open paper4 & copy/paste
Selections - invert - delete - select none
Add dropshadow of choice
Open element8 & copy/paste
Position at top of frame
Add dropshadow of choice
Open element6 & copy/paste
Resize - position lower left of frame
Add dropshadow of choice
Open element11 & copy/paste
Resize - position upper left of lights
Add dropshadow of choice
Select your text tool
Set font to Go-Go-Go or another block font of choice
Set size to 115
Set foreground to black and background to null
Type the word Christmas
Convert layer to raster
Select inside letters with magic wand
Open paper5 & copy/paste
Selections - invert - delete - select none
Add dropshadow of choice
Set font to Carpenter ICG or another font of choice
Type out the word Merry
Add gradient glow & dropshadow of choice
Open element13 & copy/paste
Position bottom of frame - see my tag for reference
Add name & proper copyright info
Add mask of choice
Crop & resize tag if needed
Merge visible & save as .png
